Submission Preparation Checklist
Before completing a submission, authors must confirm that:

The manuscript represents original scholarly work, has not been published previously, and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

The manuscript falls within the Focus and Scope of JLEL.

The manuscript has been prepared according to the current JLEL Author Guidelines and official JLEL Manuscript Template.

The manuscript submitted for review has been fully anonymized and contains no author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgments that reveal author identity, or other identifying information.

Complete and accurate metadata for all authors have been or will be entered into the online submission system.

All citations and references follow APA Style, 7th Edition, and DOI information is provided where available.

All sources have been appropriately acknowledged, and any required permissions for third-party copyrighted material have been obtained.

The manuscript complies with JLEL's Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

Necessary research ethics approval and informed consent have been obtained and appropriately reported where applicable.

Relevant conflicts of interest and funding information have been disclosed.

A Data Availability Statement has been provided where appropriate, including any applicable ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, or other restrictions on access to supporting data.

Any use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies that materially contributed to manuscript preparation, analysis, or presentation has been transparently disclosed.

For manuscripts with multiple authors, an Author Contributions Statement describing the respective scholarly contributions of the authors has been provided.

All listed authors meet the journal's authorship requirements, have reviewed and approved the manuscript, and agree to its submission to JLEL.

The authors have read and agree to JLEL's Copyright and Licensing Policy and understand that accepted articles will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

Privacy Statement
Names, email addresses, affiliations, and other personal information entered into the JLEL journal system will be used for the journal's editorial, peer-review, publication, and related scholarly communication processes.
Such information will be handled in accordance with applicable journal procedures and will not be used for unrelated purposes or disclosed to other parties except where necessary for legitimate journal operations or where required by applicable ethical or legal obligations.
