About this Publishing System

Journal of Language Education and Literacy (JLEL) uses Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open-source journal management and publishing platform developed and maintained by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

OJS supports the management of the scholarly publishing workflow, including manuscript submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, copyediting, production, and online publication. JLEL uses this system to facilitate communication and workflow management among authors, editors, and reviewers throughout the editorial and publication process.

Through OJS, JLEL provides online access to published articles and associated metadata and supports interoperability with scholarly information systems through established publishing standards and protocols, including the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH).

The use of OJS supports JLEL's commitment to transparent editorial management, open-access scholarly communication, metadata dissemination, and the accessibility and discoverability of its published content.
